✈️ MEET D1S PILOT – NICOLAS CHANSARD 🇫🇷 I’m Nicolas Chansard, 19 years old, from France. I mainly fly F5J and I’m currently studying science and materials. Since the end of 2024, I’ve also been flying F3K. 🚀 How did you get into RC flying? My father took me to the flying field from a very young age. I started learning to fly when I was six and entered my first competitions shortly after. ✈️ Why did you start flying the D1S? I had been interested in F3K for a long time and wanted to try a new-generation glider. When I saw the D1S, its features and geometry caught my attention. ⚡️How often do you fly and compete today? I mainly fly on weekends. Until now, I’ve mostly flown F3K for fun, but this year I took part in a national competition and I’m planning to compete more in the coming seasons. 🙃 What do you do when you’re not flying? Besides studying, I enjoy watching videos about different topics related to culture and entertainment.
